Spillage and Disposal:
Wear appropriate protective clothing. Inform others to keep at a safe distance. Mix with dry sand, transfer into dry container and transport to safe, open area. Add, a little at a time, with stirring, to a large volume of water and leave to stand until reaction is complete. If local regulations permit, run to waste diluting greatly with running water. Otherwise arrange for removal by disposal company. For large spillages liquids should be contained with sand or earth and both liquids and solids transferred to salvage containers. Any residues should be treated as for small spillages.

Chemical residues are generally classified as special waste, and as such are covered by regulations, which vary according to location. We strongly recommend that you retain the services of a licensed Waste Disposal Company to dispose of your waste.

Rinse out empty containers thoroughly before disposal or recycling.

The containers recommended A, B, C etc allow for the consolidation of similar types of waste prior to professional disposal.

Residues of liquid inorganic halides and hydrolysis-sensitive reagents should be carefully stirred a drop at a time into ice-cool 10% sodium hydroxide solution (Cat. No. 1.05587); container E.

Fire and Explosion:
Flammability: May evolve toxic fumes in fire.
Suitable Extinguishing Media: Not applicable to this product.
Use extinguisher relative to the combustible materials on fire.
